Analysis :
If you have seen either of Bodygaurd versions from other languages. You may not be surprised with the final twist venkatesh satisfies telugu audience as well. Also this film is a faithful remake of original and therefore it may not offer anything new for those who have already known the story. However, Venkatesh made this film watchable even audience know the story of the film.
For those who did not see it in other languages, Bodygaurd will impress anyone with good script. This film proves that a strom story can always impress any despite of cultural differences. Bodygaurd was hit in all the languages it was made till now.  Finally Telugu version Bodygaurd made family entertainer and we fell good even we are watching this film with our parents.
Ali says to his girl friend, “siggu leda oka magadu battallekunda unte edo EK MINAR choosi vachinattu chebutunnav”. Surprise!!!! Censor board found no vulgar language in this sentence.
First half is lengthy little boring due to beaten track narration resembling many previou films of Venky but comedy was good. Second half does’nt have scope for much comedy as the story takes the advantage. There are few touching scenes in this hour. Last 20 min emotionally captured.
Technical Aspects :
Dialogues by Kona Venkat are good. Music composed by Thaman is very nice. Backgound music also is fine. Editing should have been crispier. Cinematography is clean and neat. Production values are high.
Director of this film Gopichand Malineni is good. He is makes this good commercial values. He did a fine job in bringing out the performance from the actors in some scenes.
Performances :
Venkatesh played his role as Venkatadri. He did a good job. Only problem might be his age factor. He is bit old for this character as the love story is the integral part of the movie. He is acted well in comedy scenes and he is acted very well in emotional scenes.
Trisha did a huge job and looks hot in this film  she is a very actress, Saloni acting well in this film. Prakash Raj is standard, Venu Madhav comedy brings very good comedy.
Here are few dialogues in this film :
1.”Ee Venkatadri tho match aadalante no quarters, no semis…. only finals”
2.”Patta pagale neeku kallu sarigga kanapadavu, Neeku endukuraa pagalu, prateekaaraalu” Venkatesh with Kota
Final word :
Bodygaurd will appeal to family audience and ladies as well. it will be definitely liked by people who haven’t seen the film in other languages. it should do well at the box office as it has the right mix of commercial elements for the festive audience.
